Cindy and Tracy Rotz Announce Their Retirement

The founders and co-presidents of the NCDSA, Cindy and Tracy Rotz have announced their retirement from the leadership roles in the Association. For the past 15 years, the Rotzs have planned every Buddy Walk, as well as spread awareness and advocacy for individuals with Down Syndrome throughout the North Country. They are now stepping back to spend much deserved time with their family.

This leaves the door wide open for someone, or group of people, to step in and take over the planning and coordination of the Annual Buddy Walk. All of the contacts, templates and signs are in place already from previous year's walks, and all that is needed is someone to follow through on the steps. The Rotzs have agreed to help transition the planning, and act as an advisor to the individual or group of people that would like to take over the planning of the walk. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact Cindy and Tracy at rotzy24@charter.net

Thank You!

The NCDSA would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone that participated in, or volunteered at the Bowling Jamboree at North Bowl Lanes. The event was a big success with over 90 people bowling. We had over 25 teams show up to bowl, and were able to raise $830 for the NCDSA. Thank you again for all of your support. As always, don't forget to check out our Facebook page.
