What we’re all about

We have distributed informational books on Down Syndrome to new parents, area hospitals, libraries, and pediatricians.

We have formed a network of support for families of individuals with Down Syndrome.

We provide lodging, gas, ferry tickets, and phone cards for parents that travel out of town to receive medical treatment.

We have generated media coverage, and increased awareness of Down syndrome.

We have received outstanding support from Plattsburgh State University, and formed an unique bond with the Men’s Hockey team. They take a very active role in our organization, including adopting a member as their assistant equipment manager, and becoming a “Mentor” to younger members.
